A PWETracker alternative for card sellers

PWETracker charges $5.99 a month for unlimited letters after 25 free shipments, and it works from a CSV file you prepare yourself. PigeonTrail's first 100 letters each month are free, it reads the order files your marketplaces export as they are, and it emails your buyer and warns you when a letter runs late.

The buyer tracking page on a phone for a shop called Dragon Cards: its logo, the words your letter is on its way, USPS expects it by Thursday, October 22, and a map of the route from Austin to Columbus.

What PWETracker does well

PWETracker is simple and its price is flat. After 25 free shipments it costs $5.99 a month with no limit on letters, so a seller who mails more than 100 letters a month pays less there than on PigeonTrail's Pro plan, which is $12.99 for 500 and then 2 cents a letter. It prints #10, A7, A6, A2 and A1 envelopes and 4 x 6 labels, gives each letter a page your buyer can open, and offers support on Discord. Its home page describes letter tracking as visibility into letter mail rather than guaranteed package tracking.

Your marketplace files, read as they are

PWETracker's site says its workflow is built around CSV batch imports, and it doesn't name a marketplace. PigeonTrail reads the files TCGplayer, eBay, Amazon, Etsy, Shopify, ShipStation and WooCommerce export without any editing, including Amazon's tab separated .txt reports, and it pulls Mana Pool orders by itself once you connect. Each address is checked against USPS data before anything prints, and orders of $50 or more are moved to a Pirate Ship package list so they never go out as letters by mistake.

Emails your buyer gets from your shop

PigeonTrail gives every letter a tracking page with your logo, tagline and accent color, a map of the route so far and the day USPS expects it. When your order file includes the buyer's email address, we email your buyer the link at the first USPS scan. If you're on Pro, those emails come from your shop's name, and your buyer hears from you when the letter is mailed, when it's almost there and when USPS marks it delivered.

TCGplayer and Mana Pool don't share buyer email addresses with outside tools, so for those orders each letter's page in PigeonTrail has a message with the tracking link ready to paste into the marketplace's messages.

A warning before your buyer writes to you

PigeonTrail asks USPS how many delivery days a First Class letter gets between your ZIP code and your buyer's, and counts them out on the calendar. A letter more than a day past that date, or five days without a scan, is flagged in your letters list, and on Pro we email you about it, so you can reach the buyer first. Our free letter delivery time tool shows the same USPS numbers for any two ZIP codes.
