Tracked envelopes for TCGplayer orders

Drop in your TCGplayer shipping export and print every envelope with the address and a USPS barcode on it. Orders under $50 go out as stamped letters you can follow scan by scan, and orders of $50 or more go to a Pirate Ship list for a tracked package.

Your first 100 letters each month are free, and you don't need a card.

From TCGplayer's export to a stack of stamped envelopes

  1. On TCGplayer, select the orders to ship and choose Export Shipping.

  2. Drop the file on PigeonTrail's Orders page. Each address is checked against USPS data before anything prints, and a bad one is flagged so you can fix it with the buyer.

  3. Print the letters on envelopes, labels or window slips. Two orders to the same buyer can share one envelope.

  4. Download the shipped file and upload it on TCGplayer, so those orders show as shipped by USPS.

The $50 line, handled for you

TCGplayer asks for tracking on orders over $20 and requires carrier tracking over $49.99, with a signature over $250. PigeonTrail keeps each order's value from the export and moves orders of $50 or more to a package list, so they never get printed as letters by mistake. Our guide to TCGplayer's shipping rules has the dates and the August 2026 Safeguard change.

Window slips for window envelopes

If you mail in #10 window envelopes, print one slip per order on plain paper. The address and barcode show through the window, and inside your buyer finds a thank you from your shop, the order number and the tracking address. Nothing gets a label, so a batch of fifty prints in a minute.

A page your buyer can follow

Every letter gets a tracking page with your shop's logo and colors, the route on a map and the day USPS expects it. TCGplayer does not share buyer email addresses, so when a buyer asks where an order is, you copy the ready made message from the letter's page into TCGplayer's message center.

The buyer tracking page on a phone, in the look of a shop called Dragon Cards: its logo and tagline at the top, the words your letter is on its way and was last scanned in Columbus, OH, USPS expects it by Thursday, October 22, and a map of the route from Austin to Columbus.

Questions

How do I bring TCGplayer orders in?

On TCGplayer, open Orders, select the orders you want to ship and choose Export Shipping. Drop that file on PigeonTrail's Orders page. PigeonTrail reads TCGplayer's columns as they are, checks each address against USPS data, and keeps each order's value so it can sort out the ones that need a package.

Which envelope or slip formats print?

#10, #9, #6 3/4, A7 and 6 x 9 envelopes, Avery 5163 address sheets, 4 x 2 and 4 x 6 thermal labels, and a window slip: one letter size page per order that folds into a standard #10 window envelope, with the address and barcode showing through the window and a thank you note, the order number and the tracking address inside.

What happens to orders of $50 or more?

TCGplayer requires USPS, UPS or FedEx tracking on orders over $49.99, so PigeonTrail moves orders of $50 or more to a package list and gives you a file for Pirate Ship. You buy Ground Advantage labels there, and when you bring back Pirate Ship's shipment file, the tracking numbers land on the right orders. You can change the $50 line in Settings, or turn it off.

Will TCGplayer show the tracking number?

No. A letter barcode is not a carrier tracking number, so PigeonTrail never puts it in TCGplayer's tracking column. The shipped file we make marks your letter orders shipped by USPS, and when a buyer asks where an order is, each letter's page in PigeonTrail has a message with its tracking link ready to copy into TCGplayer's message center.

Does PigeonTrail email TCGplayer buyers?

Not on its own, because TCGplayer's shipping export does not include the buyer's email address. Your buyer reaches the tracking page through the link you send, or through the address printed on the window slip.
