Tracked envelopes for Mana Pool orders

Connect your Mana Pool account once and new orders arrive in PigeonTrail by themselves. Print each envelope with a USPS barcode, add a stamp, and PigeonTrail hands Mana Pool the tracking link when it marks the order shipped.

Your first 100 letters each month are free, and you don't need a card.

A #10 envelope printed by PigeonTrail: the shop's return address at the top left, a box for the Forever stamp at the top right, and the buyer's address with a USPS barcode above it.

How it works with Mana Pool

  1. Create an API key in your Mana Pool seller dashboard under Integrations, and enter it with your Mana Pool email on PigeonTrail's Connections page.

  2. New orders arrive by themselves as Mana Pool sends them, and you can also pull open orders in with one button on the Orders page.

  3. Print the letters on #10 envelopes, labels or window slips, add a Forever stamp, and mail them.

  4. When you print, PigeonTrail marks each order shipped on Mana Pool with the link to its tracking page.

Mana Pool's rules for letter orders

Mana Pool sets one shipping schedule for every seller, so the rules are short. These are the ones that matter for envelopes, quoted or summarized from Mana Pool's own help center with the date each page was last updated.

Because Mana Pool counts only carrier tracking on its tracked orders, PigeonTrail leaves those orders out of your letters and tells you they need a package label. The letter barcode is for the 1 to 14 card orders that go untracked under Mana Pool's rules, where seeing the letter move still saves you a lot of questions.

What your buyer gets

Every letter has its own tracking page with your shop's logo and colors, the route on a map and the day USPS expects it. PigeonTrail gives Mana Pool that link when it marks the order shipped. If a letter runs more than a day past USPS's date, or goes five days without a scan, it is flagged in your list, and on Pro we email you about it.

The buyer tracking page on a phone, in the look of a shop called Dragon Cards: its logo and tagline at the top, the words your letter is on its way and was last scanned in Columbus, OH, USPS expects it by Thursday, October 22, and a map of the route from Austin to Columbus.

Questions

How do I connect Mana Pool?

On Mana Pool, open your seller dashboard, go to Integrations, choose Mana Pool API and create an API key, answering No to the inventory question. Then enter your Mana Pool email and that key on PigeonTrail's Connections page. We check the key with Mana Pool before saving it, and we keep it sealed.

Which Mana Pool orders become letters?

Orders the buyer paid to ship as a First Class letter. Orders where the buyer paid for tracked shipping stay out of your letters with a note that they need a package label, because Mana Pool says letter tracking cannot meet its tracking requirement.

What does my buyer see?

When you print, PigeonTrail marks the order shipped on Mana Pool with the link to the letter's tracking page, so Mana Pool has the link for your buyer. Mana Pool does not share buyer email addresses, so PigeonTrail sends these buyers no emails of its own.

Can I disconnect it?

Yes, any time from Connections. Disconnecting removes the webhook from your Mana Pool account and deletes the key we stored.
