A TCG QuickShip alternative for card sellers

TCG QuickShip sells tracked letter postage from $0.78, insures letters through PIP and syncs orders from eBay, Mana Pool, CardNexus and Misprint, and its free plan prints barcoded labels for your own stamp. PigeonTrail sells no postage or insurance and is built around what your buyer sees, with emails from your shop, a tracking page in your colors and a warning when a letter falls behind.

The buyer tracking page on a phone for a shop called Dragon Cards: its logo, the words your letter is on its way, USPS expects it by Thursday, October 22, and a map of the route from Austin to Columbus.

What TCG QuickShip does well

TCG QuickShip does more of the selling side than PigeonTrail. It sells letter postage starting at $0.78 for a 1 ounce letter with the barcode included, and its paid plans include 50 to 300 labels a month without its 12 cent fee. Letters and flats bought through it can be insured with PIP for 1% of the declared value, with a 20 cent minimum, up to $50. It also has AI card scanning, cross listing, pricing rules, a picking screen, branded packing slips and end of day SCAN forms, and it offers support on Discord.

Its free plan is close to what PigeonTrail does: its pricing page says "Free tracked labels with from and to addresses only. You may add your own stamp."

Emails your buyer gets from your shop

PigeonTrail gives every letter a tracking page with your logo, tagline and accent color, a map of the route so far and the day USPS expects it. When your order file includes the buyer's email address, we email your buyer the link at the first USPS scan. If you're on Pro, those emails come from your shop's name, and your buyer hears from you when the letter is mailed, when it's almost there and when USPS marks it delivered.

TCGplayer and Mana Pool don't share buyer email addresses with outside tools, so for those orders each letter's page in PigeonTrail has a message with the tracking link ready to paste into the marketplace's messages.

TCG QuickShip has a public lookup page where anyone can enter a tracking or order number, and its site doesn't describe buyer emails.

A warning before your buyer writes to you

PigeonTrail asks USPS how many delivery days a First Class letter gets between your ZIP code and your buyer's, and counts them out on the calendar. A letter more than a day past that date, or five days without a scan, is flagged in your letters list, and on Pro we email you about it, so you can reach the buyer first. Our free letter delivery time tool shows the same USPS numbers for any two ZIP codes.

Order files from more stores

TCG QuickShip syncs eBay, Mana Pool, CardNexus and Misprint and reads TCGplayer exports, and it lists Shopify as rolling out. PigeonTrail also reads the order files that Amazon, Etsy, ShipStation and WooCommerce export, which matters if you sell outside the card marketplaces.

Envelopes that look like your shop

PigeonTrail's envelope designer puts your logo, a tagline and an accent color in the return corner, with a preview of each size before anything prints, and the same look carries over to your buyer's tracking page.
